What I'm actually doing.
Not a status feed. Just the current shape of the work, told without the LinkedIn filter.
Building
Most of my week is Frontier Foundry. We're shipping secured-AI platforms — Kundi and Limni — for financial services, life sciences, and U.S. federal law enforcement. I'm hands-on with product and architecture; the team is doing the work that matters.
Advising
A small number of Virtova engagements. Current focus: AI adoption inside regulated balance sheets, and what "secured AI" actually means when the regulator walks in.
Writing
Essays on Substack, mostly about the collision of AI, national security, and the banking system. Slow cadence, high conviction.
Reading
A rotating mix of declassified cable traffic, papers on post-quantum cryptography, and — for sanity — history of the Cold War.
Not doing
Not on boards I don't believe in. Not giving free advice before we've agreed on the number the work is meant to move.
Home
Mostly — and best — a husband, a father, and a border collie dad. The dog runs a tighter sprint cadence than most startups I've worked with.
For fun
Chicago Bears fan, which means I have already developed the emotional resilience to lead an AI startup. Formula 1 fan, which means I understand that telemetry and milliseconds win races — and that the pit stop is the whole product.
